Description:

The Record of Stallions book is the register of stallions in Placer County, according to the California Stallion Registration Board.

Scope and Content:

(One Volume)

An alphabetical index of ownership entities is included in the beginning of this volume.

The volume is then divided into five sections denoting breed characteristics including sections for: Pure Bred; Grade; Crossbred; Non-Standard; and Mongrel.

Each record contains the certificate number; animal’s pedigree; owner’s name; breeder’s name; description of the animal; approval by a veterinarian; a studbook register number (if eligible); and filing date.
